A first trip to the library, a new book to take home, and the beginning of a lifelong love of reading!

Our Kindergarteners recently learned how to check out a library book, from browsing a selection of picture books and learning the checkout process to discovering how to find a book’s due date on its checkout card inside the book. They also learned the dos and don’ts of caring for their library books, from handling them with care to keeping them safe and ready for the next reader. Then came the best part: choosing a book of their very own to bring home!
