Class VII students crossed Central Park to visit New-York Historical, where they explored the exhibition Revolutionary Women and viewed objects from the Civil War era. Moving through the galleries, students looked closely at artifacts and documents, asking questions about the people who made, used, and preserved them. The visit gave them a chance to connect the stories they study in history class to the real objects and voices of the past.
